Yesterday I was at the Textielmuseum in Tilburg. There you can see the first solo exhibition of Christien Meindertsma, Dutch designer. The central theme in her work is the examination of the origin of products. Her ‘one sheep sweater’ is made of the wool of one single sheep and in her book ‘PIG 05049’ she researched all the products made from a single pig. I am a fan of her knittings from thick woolen yarns, like her urchin poufs.
